HYDROGEN

Hydrogen (H2) is a chemical element, a bulk Chemical used in industry and a secondary energy carrier for energy storage.

Hydrogen can be produced from diverse sources of energy. Today, hydrogen is typically extracted from natural gas. But more and more hydrogen is produced from renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power.

When used in a fuel cell, hydrogen combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity while releasing only water and heat.

This makes hydrogen one solution for the supply of clean transportation fuel, the integration of fluctuating renewable electricity production, and energy supply security.
