The HyBalance Consortium invites you to discover the results and learnings from the HyBalance project.

The HyBalance facility in Denmark demonstrates the use of hydrogen in energy systems. Since 2018 hydrogen has been produced at the facility from PEM water electrolysis, enabling the storage of renewable electricity from wind turbines. It thus helps balance the grid, and the hydrogen can be used for clean transportation and in the industrial sector.

In the webinar key note speakers from the consortium will

• present the results and learnings from the HyBalance project on grid balancing services, power-to-hydrogen system’s performance and environmental impact
• discuss which role we expect electrolyzers will play in balancing the electricity system when containing an increasing share of variable renewable energy sources
• discuss how we see the market development and the need for EU regulatory frameworks – including certifications
